I thought it was exaggerated about all the snow and ice here....when I went out today I was proven wrong.

The VERY busy street near me had 2 inches of solid ice on it. My apartment parking lot was a skating rink, no joke. The snow that had fallen was freaky slippery, it was like the very top layer of snow had melted and refroze making a coating of ice.

I fell flat on my ass 10 times today

Well it as been between 0 and 20 all week.

The city is shut down because were in Texas our city had no plans for this type of weather.

As cars melt the ice on the highways its so cold it just refreezes.

Plus we ran out of de-iceing chemicals.

Yesterday we had rolling black outs cause the energy provider of Texas couldn't keep up with demand.....my fucking power went out every 2 hours for 30 minutes 4 times yesterday. This is partially because they REFUSED to cut electrical power to the stadium, the largest power sucker in Dallas.

I don't own a snow shovel, so I have been clearing snow and ice with a "hella lot" of salt and a broom.

My ass hurts.

ALL OF THE SHOOTING RANGES SHUT DOWN!
